This advent season is flying by...I have tried to keep the mindset of a prayerful Advent and not stressing over Christmas things. Being sick and staying home most of the time has made it easy not to get caught up in the Christmas bug that is all over Lafayette!
We got our Christmas present a little early, a new Canon Rebel EOS T3i camera. I have not gotten to really use it like I want to, but am sooo happy to have a working camera again! Ours has been broken since before Halloween and I missed having pictures. We wanted it for the newest baby on the way, in about month! Gotta have those first few months well captured! I am determined not to take less pictures of each child and give each one a full baby book. So far so good!
Shannon has worked a lot lately it seems...I have been getting as much work done to be ready for next month's changes. We were able to celebrate Shannon's 29th birthday last Sunday at Prejean's with a yummy brunch. My visits to local restaurants for my

Community Chronicles has provided us with some excellent eating opportunities...so far we have gone to Antoni's, Pat's Downtown, Pizza Village, Prejeans and others! YUM! I recommend all the of the places and can't wait to visit some different places this year. I love my job :).
